Hello, I’m Nick, the founder of Nick The Buffer. I have a lifelong passion for automotive culture and custom paintwork, which has driven me to create and refine my craft from a young age.
Nick The Buffer was born from a desire to build a career rooted in purpose, creativity, and personal pride, rather than solely pursuing financial success at the expense of wellbeing. In 2024, I took the significant step of leaving my full-time role in legal technology in central London to pursue this vision, a decision I have never regretted.
Today, I run Nick The Buffer independently, managing every aspect of the business - from administration and marketing to all custom painting. This hands on approach allows me to maintain complete creative control and ensures that every piece meets the highest standards of quality before it reaches you!

Nick The Buffer Guarantee & Refund Policy.
At Nick The Buffer I offer a lifetime ownership guarantee on all my custom-painted items. This warranty covers issues related to paint adhesion and durability under normal use. However, it does not cover damage caused by expected defects, such as stone chips, or damage caused by user mishandling, improper care, or exposure to harsh conditions beyond normal wear. If a defect arises under covered conditions, the customer is responsible for sending me back the item and I will assess and determine the appropriate resolution. Proper maintenance and care are essential to preserving the quality of your custom painted parts.
Please note, due to the nature of track days, I can not warranty paintwork on custom painted parts for cars going on track. I recommend custom painted parts to be removed (i.e. engine covers) when the car is under high temperature conditions (for example on track) as exceeding regular temperatures can cause clear coat to yellow, and in some extreme cases fail.
Refund Policy
1. Returns
You have 30 days from the date you received your item to request a return on non custom painted orders.
To be eligible for a return, your item must:

Be unused and in the same condition that you received it.

Be in the original packaging.

Must not be custom painted or modified in any way.
2. Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the status of your refund.
If your return is approved:

Your refund will be processed to your original payment method

Refunds typically take 5–10 business days to appear, depending on your payment provider

There is a 10% processing fee on refunds for orders where the customer has changed their mind on a non custom product.
3. Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are non-refundable unless the item arrived damaged or defective.
4. Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive an item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact me within 3 days of receiving your order. I will arrange a replacement or refund at no additional cost. The incorrect item will need to be returned back to Nick The Buffer.
